For 25 Years The Comedy School, under the direction of Keith Palmer MBE, has pursued it's mission to raise the profile of the many uses of comedy in the UK - from stimulating personal creativity to encouraging social skills and improving literacy.
We provide innovative performance Courses and Workshops for everyone in Stand-Up Comedy, Improvisation, Writing, Clown, Mime and much more. These are for individuals as well as corporate clients to foster authentic communication, leadership skills and teamwork.
We also use comedy as an educational tool to work with young people to combat knife and gang crime in association with Youth Inclusion Projects, Youth Offending Teams and Safer Schools Teams. In the Mental Health sector our ground-breaking Wellbeing project initiative in Brixton, South London and has been hailed a 'life-saver' by mental health patients.

with Tim Eagle. Introducing the basic devices at work in physical comedy by exploring some of the classic gags and routines through a variety of fun exercises and scratch performances. The course is designed for people with little or no experience of performing physical comedy - Sunday 18th June, 2023
Over six weeks, the course will guide you through the process of becoming a stand-up comedian, from writing your first piece of material to your debut performance. Sessions are run by professionals from the comedy circuit. The course culminates with a Showcase, in which you perform a comedy routine to a warm and friendly audience. Two courses start Thursday 7th or Sunday 10th September, 2023.
